Press Release, Alicante, 20 December 2020: Jomipsa has been working throughout 2020 to expand its range of long-lasting cakes with three new flavours: coffee, ginger and caramel. These new flavours join the five previous ones (vanilla, orange, lemon, cinnamon and chocolate).

Long-lasting cakes are one of the most innovative and characteristic products in the range of food rations made by Jomipsa. This 85g product has a high calorific value and can last up to 3 years.

Jomipsa has developed the new cakes with coffee, ginger and caramel flavours, with a view to expanding the range of products and reaching new markets, as well as to respond to requests made by some of its customers. This is a unique product in the market for field rations, emergency rations and all kinds of other food rations. The product is perfect for completing the calorific intake required for a military emergency ration or a ration for athletes, as it contains 396 calories and can last for up to 36 months.

All long-lasting cakes are produced entirely on-site at Jomipsa’s facilities. They are RSPO certified as they contain sustainable palm oil. The cakes have also obtained ISO 22000 certification as they are manufactured in compliance with all the relevant standards and processes. In late 2020 and early 2021 the company expects to further expand the range of long-lasting cake flavours.
