This morning our colleague Gerard van Oosbree, owner of Dutch Defence Press, was out on the range to photograph new kit in the M19 NFP camo:-

After the presentation of the new equipment last week, it was the intention to practice with it from this week. Unfortunately, that turned out differently as the busy exercise schedule left no time to get the new personal equipment ready. However a single soldier had managed to do it, so my trip to the ISK was not entirely in vain.
There was one surprise in the new (under body armour) combat shirt in NFP or Netherlands Fractal Pattern, which was provided to this platoon this week. This is the interim solution of the current Marine uniform garment but in the new camo. The issue of the clothing will therefore also progress, which is a good thing.
The new helmet from Galvion (formerly Revision) is already being worn by all soldiers.
