According to USAREUR published sources There are four types of US Army ATLANTIC RESOLVE rotations – Armoured, Aviation, Sustainment Task Force and Division Headquarters. Rotational units conduct bilateral, joint and multinational training events across more than a dozen countries. ATLANTIC RESOLVE is funded by the European Deterrence Initiative, which enables the US to enhance deterrence, increase readiness and support NATO.

Last week elements of the current Armoured rotation, drawn from 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team of the 4th Infantry Division, conducted a situational exercise at Drawsko Pomorskie Training Area (DPTA) in Poland, where the ABCT scouts conducted reconnaissance and security to enable brigade defence. The 3/4 ABCT is among other units assigned to V Corps, America’s forward-deployed corps in Europe that works alongside NATO allies in joint, bilateral, and multinational training exercises.
