Clearing trenches and storming buildings was part of training Belgian troops recently undertook with the NATO eFP Battlegroup in Lithuania.

Over 100 Belgian soldiers are deployed at NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence Battlegroup in Lithuania. Some have been taking part in live-fire training, trench clearing and close quarter battle (CQB) training, which involves weapons firing at close range.
This NATO Multimedia footage shows infantry soldiers from the Carabiniers Prins Boudewijn – Grenadiers Regiment of the Land Component of the Belgian Armed Forces. This is one of the units deployed with the Belgian contingent which arrived in January 2021 and will stay for six months.
All soldiers were operating within a self-contained bubble in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines for the NATO eFP Battlegroup.
