Revision Military presented their latest EyePro model, SlingShot Browless Ballistic Sunglasses, at the recent Enforce Tac expo in Germany, reports Bob Morrison.

Although I have not yet had the chance to try out these new ballistic sunglasses in the field, as a long time wearer of Revision EyePro (Eye Protection) I immediately spotted the potential advantage of this new model over the more usual design. Any shooter or observer (or photographer) who has to regularly ply their skills from the prone position will know that the top frame of ballistic eyewear can in some circumstances interfere with one’s vision meaning there is sometimes the temptation to slide the ‘shades’ onto the top of the head… where of course they are no longer protecting the vulnerable eyes.
This new ‘browless’ frame design from the Vermont company also reduces the the chance of fogging in humid conditions or while exerting, yet still provides the same ballistic protection (MIL-PRF-32432A Class 1) as the more familiar Sawfly model. Easily interchangeable Clear, Smoke, Yellow and Vermillion optical grade polycarbonate lenses are available.
