Australian DoD Purchases DroneShield RfPatrol

DroneShield has announced that its RfPatrol has won the Australian Department of Defence tender for portable Unmanned Aerial System detection devices.

Press Release, 01 October 2019: DroneShield Ltd is pleased to announce that it has won the Australian Department of Defence tender for portable unmanned aerial system (drone) detection devices.

DroneShield won the contract following an open tender process. The contract is for approximately A$700,000, and consists of a combination of an initial purchase price and an annual subscription component. DroneShield expects to deliver the products during the calendar 2019 year.

DroneShield’s CEO Oleg Vornik commented, “DroneShield’s RfPatrol is a world leading portable counter-drone detection device, designed and made here in Australia. We are excited about our products protecting the Australian military and look forward to continuing our relationship with the Australian Department of Defence.”
