French Special Forces At SOFINS 2023

This morning French Special Forces from all three services participated in a dynamic display as SOFINS 2023 drew to a close near Bordeaux, reports Bob Morrison.

JOINT-FORCES was on the front row today as the elite French operators, assisted by a small Belgian Special Forces contingent, took down insurgents, rescued a hostage and evacuated a casualty during a forty minute display of capabilities at the Camp de Souge SF base. As you can imagine, there was a lot to photograph and if all goes to plan I should bring you more detailed coverage once back at base (assuming industrial action and cancelled flight etc. don’t prevent me getting back). However in the meantime here is just a brief taster of some of what lies in store.
