When we were planning our recent trip away it was a long-haul south, in fact very south, and I was looking for a lightweight travel mug that would be reliable and effective. So when at OTS 2023 I came by this Zoku 20oz Stainless Steel Tumbler, a new brand to me, it seemed it might fit the job well. After a whole bunch of miles on land, sea and air this has proved to be right.

Light and easy to pack and carry, as no protruding handles, the clip-shut lid was my only concern. However this has proved to be totally secure and easy to use, even one-handed. Handy to put in a pocket while walking about and ready to take a slug of hot choc when needed. Or, alternatively, a source of a cold one on those warm days we experienced on the trip. The shape is aesthetically pleasing as well as being both good to and secure to hold; essential with cold or wet hands or if wearing gloves.

The main mug is stainless steel with a plastic screw on lid, which of course can be left off for use as a standard mug ~ everything is easy to clean, which is essential when travelling [©MG]

The Zoku proved well able to keep a hot brew warm for long enough on those hours up on deck watching icebergs float by. More travels to come for this one. This mug colour is called Aqua, but other colours are available including Black.
