We spend a lot on our gear, so we should be looking after it correctly. Some products are put together to provide the user with the substances required to fully clean and protect certain garments, in this case the likes of waterproof jackets. Here we have a cleaner and also a re-proofer from the same company marketed as a pair.
In the case of Paramo gear this requires to be cleaned and reproofed on a regular basis to keep it working as intended. STORM has notably taken a grip on the drive to reduce plastic wastage and now market products such as the two here in easy to recycle metal alloy, rather than plastic, containers. Nice one.
STORM WASH is a pH Neutral solution which lifts contaminants from the outdoor gear fabric without damage and STORM PROOF is a fluorocarbon-free solution for restoring the original water repellence. Just put WASH in the washing machine’s detergent compartment and PROOF in the conditioner compartment, wash the garment on the recommended cycle, take out and air dry, then tumble dry on a low heat setting for 20 minutes to fix the treatment.
