US Army Europe and Africa Exercise SABER JUNCTION 22

US Army Europe and Africa is holding the multinational exercise SABER JUNCTION at at the US Army’s Hohenfels training area in Germany.

Press Release, Hohenfels, August 2022: More than 4,400 participants from the US and NATO Allies and partners in Europe will participate in SABER JUNCTION 22 at the US Army’s Hohenfels training area Aug. 29 – Sept. 20, 2022.

SABER JUNCTION is an exercise designed to assess the readiness of the US Army’s 173rd Airborne Brigade to execute unified land operations in a joint, combined environment and to promote interoperability with participating Allied and partner nations.

The exercise is conducted by 7th Army Training Command’s Joint Multinational Readiness Center, the Europe-based Army Combat Training Center tasked with providing training capabilities for leaders, staff, units and multinational partners to dominate in unified land operations around the world.

Allied and partner nations participating in SABER JUNCTION are Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
