Press Release, Bayreuth, 07/2020: Steiner is introducing two new models for the successful and universally applicable M-Series. Especially, the high detail recognition and optical quality due to the up to 20x magnification is appreciated by Special Forces and sports shooters all over the world and enables a reliable hit rate on targets up to 1,500m distance.

In order to enable precise perception in every situation coupled with an outstanding overview of the area of operation, this riflescope also offers an incomparably large field of view. The high military ruggedness and short design of the M7Xi 2.9-20×50 provides easy mounting and long-lasting use of all kinds of attachments and clip-on devices, making this model an ideal companion for demanding hunters. The military ruggedness of the M-Series is characterised by shock resistance up to 900G, water pressure resistance up to 20 metres and a high temperature range in the operating range from -46 °C to +63 °C.

M7Xi – Series: Based on the outstanding success of the M5Xi – used today by Special Forces around the globe – Steiner sets a new benchmark with the ultimate long-range riflescope M7Xi 4-28×56 with a 7x zoom and an impressive field of view (1.42-9m at 100m). Also the M7Xi 2.9-20×50 is equally impressive with a field of view by (1.78-12m at 100m).

The 7x zoom gives the operator more flexibility and a higher resolution for all distances while the large field of view and the outstanding optical quality create a perfect overview of the surroundings at all times. The short overall length of the scope creates more rail space for clip-on devices (e.g. thermal imaging or night vision devices) for superior operational capabilities in any combat situation.

Low profile turrets provide outstanding situational awareness and additional mounting options for add-ons and accessories.

  • The new Steiner M7Xi inherited and enhanced the legendary Steiner ruggedness.
  • The M7Xi is waterproof up to 20m (66ft) and the operating temperature range is -46°C to +64°C. It can withstand up to 900Gs.
  • The new M7Xi is available with MSR-2, G2B MIL-DOT.

The Intelligent Firing Solution with integrated customisable display always provides all the important information in real time to the operator.

The built in Ballistic Calculator and Sensor Suite determines the bullet point of impact in real time (temperature, air pressure, inclination, wind drift). Just turn the turrets until the distance and wind correction in the display matches the information provided by the spotter and you will be on target.

The display provides information about levelling and the current turret setting. Display and user interface can be customised to user needs. Every information can be moved freely or can be deactivated if needed via smartphone app (Bluetooth connection).
