Press Release, Cardiff, 28 July 2021: BCB International are delighted to confirm that our Employer Recognition Scheme Silver nomination for 2021 has been successful and that we are now a proud recipient of a Silver Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) award.
BCB were one of 24 Welsh employers to have received an ERS Silver Award in 2021 from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for our support of the armed forces community. Under the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, BCB International support Defence personnel and encourage others to do the same. BCB continues to actively ensure our workforce is aware of the positive policies towards Defence people issues for veterans, reserves, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers, and spouses and partners of those serving in the Armed Forces.
Working with the Engagement Director’s of RFCA for Wales BCB have been able to implement further policies and working practices to support veterans, families and reservists from the Armed Forces. Employing veterans and reservists of the Armed Forces has helped to strengthen our business and we hope this award will encourage veterans and reservists to continue to work with us in the future.
