Press Release, Mainburg, November 2025: With the BLACK EAGLE EVO series, HAIX brings the next generation of duty boots for police forces onto the streets. The BLACK EAGLE EVO Athletic GTX Mid and the BLACK EAGLE EVO Tactical GTX Mid allow for maximum control, stability and performance while on duty.
At the heart of both models is the XLR8 technology package, which mobilises power and elevates physical performance to a new level. The slip resistant fully rubber sole provides secure grip in any situation and in all types of weather. The series underscores once again what HAIX stands for: innovation for people who show up everyday.
Noticeable boost in performance: The new Black Eagle EVO series is packed with power. The performance enhancing XLR8 technology promotes healthy movement, reduces fatigue and gives wearers the feeling of full control over their bodies. “Our mission is to develop products that not only make our customers’ working day easier but tangibly improve it,” says HAIX shareholder and managing director Dr Ing Michael Haimerl.
Central to the system is Reforce technology, which supports the foot arch and promotes natural posture. XLR8 also includes an ergonomic last, an adaptive heel counter for balance and stability and optimised sole cushioning. The result is a noticeably active, fatigue free wearing experience, step by step. “Police forces are constantly challenged. That makes it all the more important to have a shoe that provides power and actively supports every step,” says Haimerl. More energy, more control, for everyone who gives their all on duty.
Duty boots that make every step count: Police officers face unforeseen challenges every day. They must react instantly and sometimes sprint from a standstill. The BLACK EAGLE EVO Athletic GTX Mid features an upper material made of lightweight breathable textile and is a sporty companion for any mission, while the BLACK EAGLE EVO Tactical GTX Mid impresses with durable leather. Both models feature a breathable GORE-TEX® membrane that reliably keeps out moisture and keeps feet comfortably dry, even in prolonged rain. Metal free and antistatic, the ankle high boots are well suited for areas with security checks such as airports or government facilities.
In an operation, every second can count. The revised gaiter pocket allows even faster and safer stowing of the quick release.
