These comfortable BEARLINE 8.5 boots from GRUBS keep my feet both dry and warm when at work in my local harbour or in the garden, writes Mike Gormley.

Having now spent a fair amount of time in these working around outside the home with the pressure washer, as well as spending time in our local harbour which I am involved with, I can testify these are among the most comfortable pairs of ‘wellies’ I have worn for some time… perhaps for ever.

As autumn turns to winter and things get a bit colder, these insulated boots are ever more welcome and especially so when feet really immersed in water. These boots are from a family of footwear that I have covered previously; Bolton-based GRUBS are a truly British company, designing and making their significant range of products here in the UK.

These boots are easy to get on and off and have that nice cosy comfy feel straight away. I have found them to be a good fitting boot and not at all floppy, as many similar wellies tend to be. The uppers are made from INSUFOAM-ULTRA so provide a good level of insulation and warmth as the temperature gets lower and if standing in cold water.

The BEARPAW soles of the BEARLINE boots are very good and grip well ~ I recall only too well, other wellies that were far from sure-footed! Shock-absorbing ULTRA-BOUNCE is incorporated above the sole for long-lasting comfort throughout the day. Things have moved on a long way with these boots.

Produced in green over black or all black, BEARLINE 8.5 boots are available in full sizes from UK4 to UK13.
