NATO Alliance Exercise STEADFAST DART 26

Exercise STEADFAST DART 26 is NATO’s most extensive exercise of 2026, involving over 10,000 troops of thirteen member nations of the alliance, reports Carl Schulze.

The exercise STEADFAST DART 26 represents the first operational deployment of the Allied Reaction Force (ARF) within the area of responsibility of, and under the command of, Joint Force Command Brunssum. While exercise activities are taking place at multiple locations across Central Europe, core actions currently take place at the Bergen Training Area in northern Germany. JOINT-FORCES was invited to today’s Media Day in order to get a glimpse of the exercise activities. A full feature should follow tomorrow.
