Russian Anti-Terror Exercise ~ Zabaykalsky Krai

Complex training was held at the Tsugol Training Centre in Zabaykalsky Krai involving Russian counter-terrorism units and military bases of the Eastern Military District.

 

Press Release, 31s t August 2018: Troops trained to siege and eliminate simulated armed groups trying to infiltrated into field camps and equipment parks in order to seize weapons and incapacitate military hardware.

During the episode involving various scenarios, the troops trained alert actions, operational advance to assigned areas, engineering and chemical reconnaissance, and evacuation of the wounded.

The drills involved over 1,000 troops, more than 80 pieces of military and special hardware, including BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles (IFV), RChM-4 reconnaissance chemical vehicles, UAZ-based special vehicles, KamAZ and Ural trucks.
