Nite Ize is a long-established producer of lots of handy, effective and very useful smaller items of gear, some of which I have been using for years and often on a daily basis. [Me too, Ed.]
The Nite Ize RunOff Waterproof range products seen here are simply very handy to have for many reasons. I have been using mine as travel bags for my toiletries and, dependent on the duration and type of trip, I can choose a size that best suits – or perhaps take smaller ones so Jean and I can can divide our gear up in our luggage or daysacks.
The Nite Ize Packing Cubes come in three sizes to suit one’s various needs; Small / Medium / Large, with interior dimensions of 175x126x80 mm / 176x262x82mm / 254x356x82mm respectively. Their uses are pretty much limitless, depending on your imagination and needs. Made to be IP67-compliant (i.e. Ingress Protection rated) these are perfectly able to keep water, dust and sand separate from your belongings. They can be used in dry or wet environments so can keep your items dry if you are waterborne or can keep wet items separate from dry kit.
These are very robust and partly see-through so you can identify what it is in them without opening, which is handy. They come with moulded-on hang and grab tags and the larger one has a carry handle and with a substantial waterproof TRU Zip.
Very similar in concept, but a slim line version, is the RunOff Waterproof 3-1-1 Pouch. This is built to the same specs as the Cubes but suited to the likes of documents and small electronic devices you need to keep dry and protected.
These are just handy items to have and the build and material quality, I am sure, will ensure they will remain part or your travel kit for years.
