This evening Mercedes-Benz Trucks unveiled the New Generation Zetros, as aimed at military users, at the Defence Vehicles Event 2019 held at Baden-Baden, writes Bob Morrison.

In addition to watching several presentations in a former Canadian Air Force base hardened shelter this afternoon and evening, once darkness fell we were able to photograph Production Chassis Cab No.1 which had been parked behind the venue. Tomorrow morning we will be up with the lark to visit the Unimog Test Track where a number of Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks Division vehicles, ranging from Geländewagen through Unimog to Zetros, will be put through their paces and once back in the UK we will report further on what looks to be a very interesting event indeed.
