Press Release, Guyancourt, 16 June 2024: Arquus presents its median APC, the FORTRESS MK2, at Eurosatory 2024 live demonstrations.
Discover the FORTRESS MK2, Arquus’ median APC, at the industrial live demonstrations of Eurosatory 2024, which will be held from June 17 to 21 at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre. This 4×4 armoured combat vehicle will be showcased in the troop transport version and will manoeuvre over rugged terrain in a high-intensity scenario.
Drawing from extensive experience on numerous operational theatres, Arquus has integrated the latest technologies and advanced processes into the FORTRESS MK2, making this product particularly effective and cohesive. Its new armoured hull provides the FORTRESS MK2 and its 10 passengers with very high levels of ballistic, mine, and IED (Improvised Explosive Device) protection, in compliance with STANAG 4569. Its high-mobility powertrain and independent wheel suspension give the FORTRESS MK2 superior mobility and an excellent power-to-weight ratio on all terrains. The Arquus armoured vehicle comes in troop transport, medical, or command post variants. The FORTRESS MK2 is in service with European Special Forces units.
With its great mobility and adaptability to off-road environments, the FORTRESS MK2 embodies both durability and versatility.
