The wide-mouthed Klean Kanteen TKWide range of vacuum insulated water bottles, designed to keep drinks piping hot or icy cold, comes in five handy sizes, writes Mike Gormley.

A new one from the house of Klean Kanteen, the featured double wall stainless steel bottle / flask is the 32oz (946ml) TKWide version with a Loop Cap featuring the TK Closure internal thread design.

With close to a litre capacity and a wide mouth, this flask is a good one to keep water, a ready drink or a soup / meal either hot or cold until you are ready for it. This can even be next day. Just the job if you are away at the crack of sparrows, so you can prep your needs for the next day knowing they will be fine and warm (or cold in summer) when you need them.

The Climate Lock insulated Wide Loop screw cap is designed to pour liquid without full removal so to maintain the internal temperature for longer as you use the contents. This Loop Cap model has a carry ring built in but you can exchange the top for a Café Cap for easy drink through if you prefer and both an interchangeable Chug Cap or Straw Cap can also be purchased through the Klean Kanteen UK online shop. Four colour options are available but we reckon this matt black version will be well suited to many end users who are likely to find themselves near to the action.

I am impressed with just how long this bottle / flask will keep things hot for.
