Approximately 2,800 military personnel from Georgia, Poland, the UK and the USA will participate in exercise NOBLE PARTNER in Georgia in September.

USAREUR Press Release, 27 August 2020: Approximately 2,800 military members from the nations of Georgia, Poland, the United Kingdom and the United States will participate in exercise NOBLE PARTNER Sept. 7-18, in Georgia.
NOBLE PARTNER 20 is a Georgian Defense Force and US Army Europe cooperatively-led exercise hosted at Vaziani and Camp Norio training areas in Georgia.
US participation will include elements from 2nd Cavalry Regiment, 18th Military Police Brigade, 173rd Airborne Brigade, 12th and 101st Combat Aviation Brigades, 148th Brigade Support Battalion, 177th Brigade Engineer Battalion (Georgia National Guard), 7th Army Training Command, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, 409th Contracting Support Brigade, 598th Transportation Brigade, 37th Airlift Squadron, 52nd Expeditionary Operations Group Detachment 2, 118th Wing (Tennessee Air National Guard), and 165th Air Support Operations Squadron (Georgia Air National Guard).
Exercise NOBLE PARTNER is designed to enhance regional partnerships and increase US force readiness and interoperability in a realistic, multinational training environment. The exercise allows participants to conduct situational training exercises, live-fire exercises, and combined mechanised manoeuvrers.
After careful consideration and coordination with the Georgian Ministry of Defense, NOBLE PARTNER 20 was modified from its original design and reduced to ensure the safety of all participants due to COVID-19. Precautionary measures will be taken to ensure the health and protection of participating armed forces and the local population. Additionally, prior to arriving in Georgia, exercise participants will have completed a 14-day quarantine and will undergo testing for COVID-19.
Exercises like NOBLE PARTNER 20 continue to demonstrate that NATO allies and partners stand stronger together with US commitment to stability and security in the region.
