Press Release, Paris, 04 February 2026:

SERVING STATES IN THE FACE OF MODERN-DAY AND FUTURE CHALLENGES

In an international context marked by the urgent need to adapt military and security force models in the short term, and by rapid technological acceleration, Eurosatory 2026 confirms its position as the world’s leading defence and security event. The exhibition offers an experience based upon operational, industrial and strategic realities, through an unrivalled range of solutions and a series of highlights designed to address the current priorities of States and armed forces.

AN EXHIBITION AT THE HEART OF INDUSTRIAL AND GEOPOLITICAL REALIGNMENTS

With four months to go before opening day, Eurosatory 2026 is already shaping up to be a pivotal edition. All the exhibition’s historic sectors are seeing strong growth. This momentum is accompanied by a structural shift: the exhibition now extends beyond the traditional scope of defence industrial and technological bases to fully embrace digital, responsible and sovereign economies. The rise of industrial cooperation, the emergence of open standards — in both hardware and software — and the powerful comeback of manufacturing industry alongside a consistently high-performing technology sector reflect a genuine paradigm shift.

The 2026 edition heralds the transition from a start-up ecosystem to one of industrial deep tech: agile, reconfigurable and robust, with impacts extending far beyond the defence sector alone. In this context, Eurosatory confirms its global leadership across the full spectrum of challenges faced by States: defence, homeland security and civil security.

This transformation is also reflected in the nature of the innovations on display. Computing power, miniaturisation, artificial intelligence, new materials and scientific convergence are shaping an exhibition that helps define the future contours of the sector. New players illustrate the acceleration of innovations in remote warfare, the low-cost/high-tech challenge and the industrialisation of defence systems.

Eurosatory has thus become a strategic showcase enabling States to rethink their industrial capabilities at the crossroads of military, civil and humanitarian applications.

HIGHLIGHTS CLOSE TO OPERATIONAL REALITIES

Eurosatory 2026 places operational experience at the very heart of its concept. The exhibition will feature a high-level programme of talks, keynotes and round tables bringing together political leaders, military authorities, industrial stakeholders and international experts. More than 100 talks and debates will analyse the major transformations in defence and security, from multi-domain superiority to industrial resilience, including remote combat, air mobility and crisis management.

Live demonstrations will be one of the major highlights of the 2026 edition. Designed to reflect actual engagement conditions, they will present scenarios inspired by contemporary situations: trench warfare, 3D environments integrating drones and autonomous systems, close quarter combat (CQB), and security threats such as natural disasters, health crises and terrorism. These demonstrations will give delegations and decision-makers a chance to gain a concrete understanding of the operational capabilities presented, offering an illustrated insight into developments on the ground.

EMBLEMATIC SPACES REDESIGNED AND ENHANCED

Several key areas will make Eurosatory 2026 a truly immersive experience. The helicopter zone, inaugurated in 2024 and expanded in 2026, will host aircraft on static display. This area will highlight the role of air mobility, verticality and unmanned systems in operations.

In 2026, Eurosatory is strengthening and evolving its Technology Clusters, central points of reference at the exhibition, to better reflect changes in the defence and security sector. Reorganised around shared themes, these hubs—Drones and Robotics, Cybersecurity and Information Systems, CBRNe, and Financing—offer a clearer overview of the exhibition’s offering, facilitating the identification of key players and the creation of targeted visitor pathways aligned with the industrial and operational challenges of 2026.

Finally, Eurosatory 2026 confirms its pioneering role in promoting dual-use capabilities in support of populations through the HELPED programme (Humanitarian Emergency Logistic Project and Eco Development). Over the past six years, this original EUROSATORY initiative has highlighted the recognition of the consequences of climate change as a major issue and the need for a comprehensive approach in humanitarian and environmental responses to increasingly frequent crises: mine clearance, decontamination, logistics, assistance to populations and the rehabilitation of disaster stricken areas.

By going beyond the purely industrial dimension, HELPED asserts itself as a structured and sustainable approach, offering credible alternatives to traditional intervention models and paving the way for new forms of institutional and private cooperation in response to humanitarian and environmental crises and conflict zones.

INNOVATION, DISRUPTIVE TECHNOLOGIES AND INDUSTRIAL SOVEREIGNTY

Innovation lies at the heart of the new forms of conflict shaping the world today. Eurosatory 2026 makes this a key focus through the Eurosatory Lab, a space dedicated to start-ups, innovative SMEs and disruptive technologies. A true showcase for innovation, this area will highlight solutions that are already shaping new defence capabilities.

The Additive Manufacturing Village, located in Hall 4, will be one of the major new features of the 2026 edition. It will bring together around fifteen companies specialising in 3D printing for defence and will illustrate the challenges of industrial resilience, sovereignty and rapid production capacity close to operational theatres. A new Technology Cluster dedicated to defence financing and economics will complete this ecosystem, shedding light on issues related to the funding of capabilities, innovation and industrial scaling-up.

By placing demonstrations and its emblematic spaces at the heart of its 2026 edition, Eurosatory reaffirms its core mission: to be the venue where operational needs, industrial capabilities and strategic decisions converge. More than just an exhibition, Eurosatory offers unique solutions and establishes itself as an operational and strategic platform serving States, armed forces and the defence and security industry, at a time when international balances are being reshaped.
