Press Release, Seoul, 24 September 2024: Hanwha Aerospace will be participating in ADAS (Asian Defense and Security) 2024. Alongside Hanwha Systems and Hanwha Ocean, Hanwha Aerospace will proudly present cutting-edge defence technologies that align with the modernization needs of global markets, including the Philippines.

During the exhibition, Hanwha Aerospace will present Chunmoo systems that we believe will greatly contribute to enhancing the defence capabilities of the Philippine military. Known for its excellent performance in Poland, the Chunmoo MRLS offers a high degree of versatility for land and maritime defence. Featuring advanced GPS and INS guidance, Chunmoo ensures real-time precision targeting for both stationary and mobile threats. This system is designed to meet the unique defence challenges faced by island nations like the Philippines, providing a robust solution for both land and maritime security needs.

One of the key highlights at ADAS 2024 will be Hanwha Aerospace’s Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile solutions, which have been specifically developed to counter maritime threats. These advanced systems are designed to protect coastal areas and critical sea lanes by intercepting and neutralising enemy ships with precision. Given the Philippines’ strategic location and focus on strengthening maritime defence, this capability is highly relevant for bolstering the country’s coastal security and safeguarding its territorial waters.
