Press Release, Tiel, 18 December 2025: The German national parliament has voted in favour of an order for Dutch defence OEM Defenture for the delivery of 49 of its AGF-2 and UFK mobile battlefield platforms.

These vehicles will be deployed by the German Special Forces Command (Kommando Spezialkräfte, KSK) starting in 2027. The KSK has the option to order an additional 31 platforms within the framework contract. The decision marks a significant milestone after a comprehensive development and testing program carried out in close cooperation with the KSK and BAAINBw, the German central purchasing and technical agency of the Bundeswehr.

The AGF-2 (Combat and Reconnaissance) and UFK (Tactical Support) are specialised configurations and were developed in collaboration with the KSK. Following the delivery of four test mobile platforms in 2024, extensive system trials were conducted worldwide by KSK and Defenture under diverse climatic conditions and terrains, including high-altitude, desert, arctic, and jungle environments. Throughout this process, both mobile platforms have demonstrated full operational capability in the most challenging terrains and extreme weather conditions, confirming their reliability and performance.

The AGF-2/UFK battlefield platforms for KSK are fully adapted to the demands of modern warfare, featuring integrated C4ISR capabilities for seamless command, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance. The platform is specifically tailored to further operational demands by its users, featuring optimized storage solutions and integrated systems for mission-critical equipment, including armaments, operator gear, and other essential items. For the development of primary and secondary weapon integration, Defenture collaborated with leading armament partners such as Sima-Innovation, Dillon Aero, KNDS France, and Fjord Defence. SurCom International is the leading partner in the integration of the entire IT-system.

René de Wit, CEO of Defenture: “This order is a testament of the quality of Defenture’s integrated mobile battlefield solutions. The AGF-2 is a one of kind platform with its agility, speed and versatility. The confidence shown by the German parliament, the Bundeswehr and KSK in our solutions highlights the importance of a European approach to defence procurement. We are looking forward to working with KSK to build and deliver these advanced platforms.”

This contract aligns perfectly with Defenture’s strategic ambition to provide high-tech, modular mobility solutions for international defence partners. It strengthens Defenture’s position as an innovative European player and contributes to employment and technological development in the Netherlands.
