Hello, I will be taking much of today off to deal with some personal (medical) admin, hence this message to explain the lack of new web posts.

As most will no doubt realise, it is primarily my job to source, edit and upload all news stories ~ plus at quiet times add contributor features ~ to the JOINT-FORCES website. Almost every weekday over the last six and a half years, Christmas Days excepted, I have endeavoured to upload three to five new pages and at weekends I usually post at least one fresh page each day (this is often a feature to compensate for lack of media releases). Today, however, I’m taking a break and I apologise to those readers looking for their regular fix of new content.
By coincidence yesterday just happened to be a very busy news day, with nine topics / ten pages uploaded to the site. In case you missed some of them, which is unsurprising as at times even I had difficulty keeping up, here is a clickable list of all ten posts:-

Update: I am pleased to announce to those readers who expressed interest that, following my recent cancer scan, the verdict of my Consultant Surgeon is: “There is no evidence of disease recurrence.” It therefore looks likely that I have beat cancer, though of course I will need to be regularly monitored over the next few years to check for any recurrence. 🙂
Some politicians say the UK National Health Service is broken, but I beg to differ. From personal experience over the last ten or so months it is my opinion that the medical side perform excellent service, though admittedly much of the bureaucratic / clerical side of the organisation appears to be just as dysfunctional as Defence Procurement and many other public / civil service bodies. 🙁
