This fleece was an immediate hit with my good lady on our recent trip to Snowdonia. The Trina makes a very practical general purpose top for travels, when ‘on the hill’ and if chilling out in the mountain café; talking of which, we have a new favourite now while in Snowdonia, Moel Siabod in Capel Curig.

If travelling light, this is a single garment that will cover a lot of bases. As many are these days, the Trina is made from a significant percentage of recycled plastic bottles. It is available is a good range of colours to suit most tastes ~ the fleece Jean is wearing here is called Rose Coral ~ and it comes in seven female sizes, from 8 through to 20.

This is a nice looking and very practical casual top. Immediately cosy and soft to touch on the inside. The armpits have what looks like a feature panel of polyester and elastane powerstretch for ease of movement and to help keep those ‘hotspots’ cooler. The elasticated cuffs also have thumb loops which are always handy when active. There is a zipped chest pocket but this is only large enough for a ‘lady size’ phone.

It is worthy of note that Craghoppers gear carries a lifetime guarantee, so don’t throw away that receipt. But keep it safe as, from my own experience with this company’s garments, you may need to keep it a very long time.
