This exercise, which is “designed to enhance regional partnerships and increase US force readiness and interoperability in a realistic, multinational training environment,” allows participants to conduct airborne operations, situational training exercises, live-fire exercises and combined mechanised manoeuvres. Approximately 2,800 troops from France, Georgia, Poland, the United Kingdom and the United States are set to participate in the main phase of the exercise, which commences today.
