Designed for explosive ordnance disposal, Toyota Hilux meets the maximum security standard – 5 star Euro NCAP security rating. The new equipment will enable Lithuanian Armed Forces EOD specialists to reach the most remote locations safely and expeditiously to carry out their explosive and mine disposal and other tasks.

The remaining part of the vehicles [order] is expected to be delivered to the Lithuanian Armed Forces by March. The project value totals EUR 1.1 million.
