Regular readers of our Gormley’s Gear section will be pleased to hear that Mike’s back following an enforced break through July and August.

In July Mike and Jean moved home, only a mile or so, and during a period of hasty packing and the actual move itself he took a bit of a ‘sabbatical’ from writing his regular reviews in full expectation that after a couple of weeks he would be back online in his new home office. To cut a very long story short, two or three weeks without t’internet turned into a full two months as the couple’s broadband provider, and then an alternative brought in to try to unravel the chaos, let them down very badly.
The good news however, is that The Gormley’s are now back online and Mike has filed a review which we plan to get online next weekend as I hope to be sat in my Editor’s Chair later this week to prepare words & pix for publication once I’m back from a planned visit to potential UK LMV suppliers in the Midlands. To say things are a little hectic at the moment, with both MSPO 2026 and DVD 2026 on the horizon, is possibly an understatement but much better too much work than too little.
