Press Release, Baku, June 2026: The 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition, ADEX, one of the region’s most authoritative and significant platforms for the defence industry and a key event showcasing the strength and potential of Azerbaijan’s defence-industrial complex to the world, will be held on 30 September – 2 October at the Baku Expo Centre.
ADEX is a major event in the field of defence industry and security in Azerbaijan and the region. Since the early years of the ADEX exhibition, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has visited the event and addressed letters of greeting to its participants and guests. This is testament to the exhibition’s high status and the trust it commands. Over the years, ADEX has not only become a reliable national brand, but has also secured its important place in the exhibition calendars of leading global defence industry companies.
The ADEX exhibition is held at the initiative and with the organisational support of the Ministry of Defence Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan and support of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The organiser of the exhibition is the Caspian Event Organisers. This year, the exhibition’s scale will once again attract particular attention. As preparations continue, almost all halls of the Baku Expo Centre have already been reserved by exhibitors. To date, more than 150 companies from over 20 countries have confirmed their participation in the exhibition.
At the ADEX exhibition, Azerbaijan’s key state institutions in defence and security will be represented with dedicated stands, showcasing their existing production and technological capabilities, as well as their latest innovations. Alongside supporting the exhibition, the Ministry of Defence Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be represented at the exhibition by a joint stand together with Azersilah Defence Industry Holding CJSC, which operates under the Ministry’s authority. At the same time, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan will participate in the exhibition with a stand, presenting its areas of activity and capabilities. MIRAS Military-Industrial Company LLC, operating under the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and specialising in military and technological fields, will also take part in the ADEX exhibition. The active participation of these institutions further underlines the importance of the event and creates the basis for its successful organisation.
Among ADEX’s traditional international participants are globally recognised companies such as Roketsan, Aselsan Elektronik San. ve Tic. A.Ş., and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) from Türkiye; Leonardo from Italy; Excalibur Army SPOL. S R.O. from the Czech Republic; Edge Group PJSC from the United Arab Emirates; INDRA from Spain, as well as many other internationally renowned companies.
A number of countries will participate in ADEX with national pavilions. Among them are Belarus, the Czech Republic, Italy, Türkiye and Slovakia.
As in previous years, ADEX will once again welcome new countries and companies. Rheinmetall from Germany and Sig Sauer from the United States are among the companies set to make their debut at the exhibition in 2026. This further demonstrates the expansion of the event’s international reach and its growing appeal as a platform for the global defence industry.
Traditionally, ADEX attracts high-profile guests and official delegations from various countries. The participation of high-level official delegations is also anticipated this year.
The International Exhibition for Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment ‘Securex Caspian’, which marks its 15th anniversary this year, will be held alongside ADEX. With its scale expanding further compared with previous years, this year’s ‘Securex Caspian’ exhibition will place cybersecurity at the centre of attention, showcasing the latest technologies, innovative solutions and advanced approaches in the field. ‘Securex Caspian’ is organised with the support of the Ministry of Defence Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Azerbaijan Exhibition Organisers Association.
As in 2024, the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan will once again be among the active participants of the ‘Securex Caspian’ exhibition this year. The State Service’s extensive participation in the exhibition demonstrates that special communications, information security and modern communication solutions hold an important place on the country’s security agenda. This year, the Service will participate in the exhibition alongside the Motorola brand. The participation of the Special Communication and Information Security State Service further highlights ‘Securex Caspian’ as an important platform for cooperation and professional dialogue between state institutions, technology providers and industry specialists.
In terms of its scale and content, ADEX stands out as one of the largest events in the region dedicated to weapons and military equipment, serving as an effective platform that reflects the level of development of the defence industry and provides a comprehensive showcase of modern weaponry and advanced technologies. The exhibition will feature aircraft and aviation systems, armoured combat vehicles, naval vessels and maritime systems, unmanned systems, chemical, biological and radiological defence (CBR), radio-electronic systems, C4ISR, equipment for weapons manufacturing, arms and ammunition, technologies and solutions for weapons disposal, simulators and training systems, as well as many other sectors.
An extensive business programme has also been prepared for ADEX. As part of the programme, a series of events covering defence industry, security, innovation and high technologies will be held. As in previous years, the ADEX exhibition will once again serve as a platform for presenting innovative start-up projects. As part of the business programme, a start-up project entitled ‘National Military Industry Complex of the Future’ will be presented to participants.
Other key highlights of the business programme include a panel discussion on ‘Electronic Countermeasures and Communications Protection’ and a master session entitled ‘Human–Machine Synergy in Aviation: Manned and Unmanned Systems’. In addition, the programme will include a case session dedicated to territorial security and demining experience; expert presentations on artificial intelligence and data management; an expert session on cyber-social resilience and personal data protection; professional development, innovation and training sessions; as well as numerous business meetings. Bilateral meetings between representatives of Azerbaijan’s relevant state institutions, international delegations and exhibition participants will make an important contribution to establishing new cooperation, expanding military-technical cooperation and developing strategic partnerships.
One of the key factors reflecting ADEX’s strong international standing is the participation of official foreign delegations. This year, an increased number of official delegations and senior representatives from countries around the world are expected to attend the exhibition. To facilitate business meetings and negotiations, specially equipped meeting rooms will be available throughout the exhibition venue. This will enable ADEX to serve not only as a platform for showcasing advanced technologies and the latest developments in the defence industry, but also as a key hub for international business cooperation, knowledge exchange, and intergovernmental dialogue.
With the participation of high-level officials, international companies and industry leaders, ADEX will once again bring together key decision-makers from across the global defence sector. The exhibition will provide valuable opportunities to establish new business partnerships, explore future projects and strengthen long-term international cooperation.
