It had originally been my plan to spend a quiet Monday sightseeing in the Romanian capital before pitching up at the ROMAERO expo venue today, Tuesday, for a last minute pre-event recce….. but I should have known that no plan survives first contact!!!
A new plan has therefore been dreamt up, which those in the know say I’m crazy to even attempt, but I didn’t lose all my hair by acting in a sane and sensible manner. If things work out as anticipated, proper coverage of BSDA 2026 should commence on Wednesday evening though the website might necessarily be a little on the ‘Q’ side between now and then.

In the meantime here’s a couple of snapshots of interesting new armoured 4×4 vehicles spotted on Monday during the initial build-up to the 10th biennial Romanian defence & security expo, which already looks like it’s going to be a really interesting event.
