Press Release, Tallinn, 10 September 2026: Milrem Robotics, the world’s leading developer of robotics and autonomous systems, is expanding its cooperation with Poland’s PGZ Group through new agreements with Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów (ZMT) and PCO signed during MSPO 2026.

Under the agreement with ZMT, the companies will work together on the development and production of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) equipped with ZMT weapon systems. The cooperation will also cover jointly offering the resulting solutions to customers, combining Milrem Robotics’ experience in military robotics with ZMT’s expertise in weapon systems.

The agreement with PCO focuses on integrating and developing optoelectronic systems for Milrem Robotics’ unmanned platforms, as well as exploring solutions applicable to other manned and unmanned vehicles. The companies will consider both adapting existing technologies and jointly developing new solutions to meet emerging operational requirements.

“Our cooperation with PGZ is moving from a broad framework into concrete areas where we can combine the strengths of Polish industry with our experience in military robotics,” said Kuldar Väärsi, CEO of Milrem Robotics. “ZMT’s weapon systems and PCO’s optoelectronic capabilities are a natural fit for unmanned platforms, and together we see opportunities to develop solutions for both the Polish Armed Forces and international customers.”

ZMT and PCO are both part of the PGZ Group, and the new agreements build on the broader cooperation established between Milrem Robotics and Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) in March 2026. That agreement identified payload integration on UGVs and the potential integration of Milrem Robotics’ autonomous technologies into PGZ vehicles among the areas for cooperation.

The potential of this cooperation is also on display at MSPO 2026, where PGZ Group companies are showcasing their technologies integrated with Milrem Robotics’ THeMIS unmanned ground vehicle. PIT-RADWAR is presenting the TUGA radar system integrated with THeMIS, while ZMT is showcasing a remote weapon system equipped with a 12.7 mm multi-barrel machine gun (WLKM).
