Indra attends MSPO, the largest defence expo in Central and Eastern Europe, with air defence, counter-drone and electronic warfare technologies.

Press Release, Madrid, 03 September 2026: Indra is attending MSPO, the leading defence fair in Central and Eastern Europe, held from 8 to 11 September in the Polish city of Kielce, as a benchmark company in the development of new multidomain capabilities and a leader in air defence, counter-drone, electronic warfare and simulation systems.
The strategic relevance of MSPO goes far beyond the framework of a traditional defence fair, as Poland and neighbouring countries face hybrid threats and incidents on a daily basis targeting critical infrastructure, industrial facilities and border and airspace surveillance and protection systems, as a result of their direct support for Ukraine’s efforts against Russian aggression. This makes the event a unique showcase in which to present the real and current capabilities of Europe’s defence industry to end users.
Against this backdrop, Indra will showcase at MSPO its distinctive capability to deliver a fully integrated, multilayered and in-depth air defence, anti-aircraft and counter-drone system, essential for responding to saturation attacks in which a large number of threats must be detected and neutralised simultaneously.
One of the key components of this solution is the company’s AirDef air defence command and control system, one of the most advanced in Europe thanks to its high level of interoperability with all types of systems and sensors.
Also standing out is Indra’s C-UAS counter-drone system, which has proven its effectiveness in real missions and features a powerful command and control centre that provides it with great flexibility to incorporate each armed force’s own sensors and effectors. This integrated air defence system can also operate in combination with land-based electronic warfare systems, such as the radar and communications electronic warfare stations that the company will display at MSPO. All these capabilities are decisive in enabling a true drone wall to protect Europe’s border.
Protection of aerial platforms and military vehicles: Indra is also bringing to the event its ALR-400 RWR airborne radar warning receiver and its InShield DIRCM infrared countermeasure system, which protects aircraft against air-to-air and surface-to-air missile attacks, including MANPADS. The system has already been installed on the A400M military transport aircraft and is designed to protect all types of aircraft, including special-mission platforms such as the A330 MRTT.
Another system expected to attract strong interest at MSPO is unquestionably Indra’s NEMUS active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar, a sensor designed for integration into counter-drone systems or active protection systems (APS) for land platforms. The system was recently selected by Rheinmetall for integration into its StrikeShield APS system.
Finally, Indra will showcase simulation systems for the training of pilots and tank and military vehicle crews, based on the premise that constant training is a decisive factor in the success of any operation.
Commitment to Poland: Indra has a solid position in Poland as a company working on key programmes, modernising the country’s air bases with state-of-the-art radars needed to support the operation of latest-generation fighter aircraft.
