Press Release, Newcastle upon Tyne, 08 June 2026: With at least 57 countries now affected by global mine contamination, including several facing what the Landmine Monitor describes as “massive” levels, Pearson Engineering will unveil its latest robotics and automation innovations – designed to reduce risk and enhance operational effectiveness in high-threat environments – in a major Eurosatory 2026 showcase.

Attendees at the Paris show will be among the first to trial MineWolf MW370 Next Generation and Threat-Sense. Each interactive scenario will simulate real-world operational pressures, allowing visitors to explore the systems independently and gain a deeper understanding of their unique roles, capabilities and performance.

For more than four decades, Pearson Engineering has been a global leader in supporting military mobility through its wide range of minefield breaching tools, including rollers, ploughs and surface-mounted clearance equipment. These proven capabilities have enabled armed forces to breach minefields, clear safe routes and maintain manoeuvre in the harshest operational conditions.

The introduction of Pearson Engineering’s robotics and automation solutions represents a natural evolution of this heritage – building on unrivalled sector knowledge to deliver technological innovations that complement traditional breaching equipment.

The MineWolf MW370 Next Generation, debuting at Eurosatory, builds on the trusted MineWolf family with enhanced clearance productivity, extended remote operating range and improved survivability. Fully uncrewed and operated at stand-off distances, it is designed to deliver high-volume clearance at scale (up to 4,500 m² per hour) while safeguarding personnel. Increased levels of automation and improved situational awareness reduce operator burden, while interchangeable flail and tiller systems provide the flexibility to perform across a wide range of demanding and heavily contaminated environments.

Threat-Sense is an advanced detection and classification system that uses integrated sensors and intelligent data-processing to rapidly identify explosive threats and hazardous objects. Developed for both military missions and humanitarian clearance operations, it delivers fast, accurate threat information to support confident decision-making. The combination of Threat-Sense with MineWolf MW370 Next Generation has the ability to enhance demining productivity further.

Ian Bell, Chief Executive Officer at Pearson Engineering, said: “The rise in global mine contamination is putting both military personnel and civilian communities at increased risk. At Pearson Engineering, we believe robotics and automation are central to addressing this challenge.

“The MW370 Next Generation and Threat-Sense reflect years of focused research and development, and we are proud to demonstrate how these technologies can remove people from harm’s way. Eurosatory is the ideal platform to allow partners and customers to experience these innovations first-hand and see how they are shaping the future of safer operations worldwide.”

Visitors to Eurosatory 2026 are invited to trial the MW370 Next Generation and Threat Sense interactive demonstrations at Stand J38, Hall 6.
