Press Release, Madrid, 30 March 2026: Indra will exhibit at the International Air and Space Fair (FIDAE), held from April 7 to 12 in Santiago de Chile, its most advanced air defence solutions, counter-drone systems, UAVs, satellites and space technology, in addition to showcasing the sustainment capabilities it is rolling out across Latin America to enhance the operational autonomy of Armed Forces and reinforce the technological capacities of the regional defence industry.

A key highlight of Indra’s participation in this edition of FIDAE is the integration of its C-UAS CROW counter-drone system, which will be operated by the Chilean Air Force, into the fair’s official security framework. During the event, scheduled visits will be conducted to the security command post to demonstrate the capabilities of one of the most advanced counter-drone systems on the market, with extensive operational experience.

As a new development, Indra will present the integration of its C-UAS system with traditional air traffic management systems and drone traffic management systems (ATM-UTM), enabling more precise discrimination between authorised flights and real threats. Indra’s C-UAS is operated by Armed Forces in several countries and is currently deployed in an operational area by the Spanish Air and Space Force. The CROW system was also used during Chile’s presidential handover ceremony on March 11 as part of the event’s security operation.

Another central element of Indra’s presence at FIDAE is the deployment of In-Service Support Centres (ISSC) in Latin America to reinforce the operational autonomy of the region’s militaries and strengthen industrial capabilities. The company is already implementing such centres in several countries to provide high-level engineering and maintenance services close to the end user, reducing dependencies and improving operational availability. These centres also incorporate sustainment 4.0 solutions, which will also be showcased at FIDAE, such as Indra’s remote support tool based on holographic glasses that enables technicians and mechanics to request expert assistance for the repair of increasingly complex systems and platforms.

Air defence, drones and satellites: Indra will also demonstrate its strong global leadership in air defence during FIDAE. The company will exhibit its Lanza 3D radars, an international reference in airspace surveillance and control. In particular, it will present its LTR-20 and LTR-25 radars, the latter in service as part of NATO’s deployable component and in countries such as Spain, the United Kingdom and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Attendees will also be able to learn about Indra’s AirDef Air Defense Command and Control system, which offers interoperability capabilities far above any other solution on the market, particularly for integrated operations with next-generation fighters and aircraft through tactical data links such as Link-16. An immersive room will recreate the highly realistic working conditions of a centre of this type.

In the field of unmanned aerial systems, Indra will display the ISTAR drone of its TARSIS family, unique in its class and offering modular, mission-adaptable capabilities. In the field of communications, Indra will exhibit its satellite communication terminals, developed to guarantee secure and resilient connectivity in any operational scenario.

The company will also present the Vorax satellite, designed for low Earth orbit (LEO) operations, featuring a versatile technological architecture aimed at enhancing communications, Earth observation and European digital sovereignty.

Land capabilities and networked operations: Indra will also present solutions for the land domain and for intelligence platforms applied to Defense. These include its mission system for military vehicles and its Battlefield Management System (BMS), which enhances the coordination and tactical management of operations. The company will also showcase on-board systems such as its periscope for armoured vehicles, the Nemus radar, and land electronic defence capabilities.

Likewise, in the multi-domain field, special mention goes to the immersive demonstration of IndraMind’s advanced artificial intelligence capabilities applied to Defense, designed to strengthen decision-making, operational autonomy and efficiency in critical environments, with applications in UAVs, Command and Control, the tactical environment, maritime surveillance, intelligent simulation, and critical asset maintenance.

With its participation in FIDAE, Indra reinforces its presence in Latin America as a strategic technological partner for defence and security, offering solutions that span from air surveillance and battlefield management to the space domain.
