Press Release, Ankara, 08 October 2025: HAVELSAN, one of Türkiye’s leading defence and information technologies companies, has successfully delivered and integrated its nationally developed Combat Management System, ADVENT, and the FLEETSTAR Ship Data Distribution System to the Indonesian Navy’s KRI BELATI-622 fast attack craft.

Following comprehensive sea acceptance trials and live-fire tests, both systems have officially entered operational service — marking a major milestone for Turkish naval technologies in Southeast Asia and reinforcing HAVELSAN’s growing presence in the Asia-Pacific defence ecosystem.

Built by PT TESCO Indomaritim, the KCR-60 class vessel underwent a rigorous testing phase where ADVENT and FLEETSTAR demonstrated outstanding performance and interoperability. HAVELSAN engineers provided on-site technical support throughout the integration and trials process, ensuring seamless operation of both systems.

Officials from the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, the SATGAS test team, and PT TESCO Indomaritim praised the system’s reliability and advanced digital architecture, emphasising its contribution to Indonesia’s naval modernisation programme.

ADVENT and FLEETSTAR ~ The Digital Brain and Heart of Naval Platforms: ADVENT, developed to enable network-centric warfare, serves as the operational brain of modern fleets — fusing sensor inputs, weapon control, communication, and decision support into a unified tactical picture. This allows naval forces to conduct complex missions with greater speed, flexibility, and interoperability.

FLEETSTAR complements ADVENT as the platform’s digital backbone, gathering critical data from onboard systems and securely distributing it to subsystems. Together, the two systems provide a robust, resilient digital infrastructure that enhances both operational efficiency and platform survivability.

A Strategic Partnership: HAVELSAN CEO Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar highlighted the importance of the collaboration with PT TESCO Indomaritim, stating:

“This achievement reflects not only the technological excellence of HAVELSAN but also the strong strategic partnership we are building with Indonesia. The successful integration of ADVENT and FLEETSTAR demonstrates Türkiye’s capability to deliver advanced, network-centric naval systems on a global scale.”

Dr. Nacar emphasised that HAVELSAN aims to expand cooperation with the Indonesian Navy on future projects, including OPV-90, Merah Putih, and additional KCR-60 / KCR-70 class vessels.
