Press Release, Sterling Heights MI, 23 April 2025: General Dynamics Land Systems will participate in Modern Day Marine 2025 in Washington, DC, to demonstrate how elements of its extensive portfolio of products and services can help advance the US Marine Corps’ vision to build a transformational force. General Dynamics Mission Systems will join Land Systems to discuss the business units’ partnership on the Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle programme.
Solutions Demonstrated:
- Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV): GD’s ARV is designed to serve as the USMC’s new battlefield quarterback on the multi-domain battlefield. It connects to an array of onboard and offboard sensors, plus uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) and, in the future, ground robotic systems. Highly mobile on land and in the water, the ARV allows Marines to sense and communicate like never before. The GD design ensures growth margins and modular open architecture to rapidly incorporate new technology as it develops.
- VITALS: Vehicle Intelligence Tools & Analytics for Logistics and Sustainment is Land Systems’ solution for predictive and prognostic maintenance (PPMx). VITALSTM provides forward-looking, decision-actionable logistics information to troops and their leaders through five modules based on artificial intelligence and machine learning: Maintenance App, Vehicle Module, Digital Motorpool, Command Module and Fleet Management Module. Portions of VITALSTM already are fielded within US Army Stryker Brigade Combat Teams and are being experimented on throughout the Army and on joint force platforms. The VITALSTM software increases operational readiness rates while decreasing logistics footprints and reducing lifecycle costs.
- Digital Training System: The Digital Training System provides operators and maintenance instructors/students with an immersive, gaming-type teaching/learning solution. Users can virtually explore a vehicle’s model-based, simulated digital twin through any device, such as a tablet, phone or computer. The Digital Training System can be used as an instructor-led training solution, connecting to all variant platforms to create a fully connected live digital twin.
- Blu Wireless: Blu Wireless’ solutions for Low Probability of Detection (LPD) and gigabit-speed mmWave wireless networks will be showcased in Land Systems’ booth.
