Press Release, London, 10 October 2024: Babcock has been awarded a two-year contract extension by the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) to continue to provide technical support services across the armed forces. The extension will see us continue to deliver a range of essential critical services to the Royal Air Force (RAF), Joint Aviation Command and Strategic Command at 16 stations across the UK.

This full-service partnership provides the MoD with a safe, cost-effective way to supply aircraft maintenance and support, general engineering, logistics and training support consistently across multiple sites, ensuring these organisations have the assets they need wherever, whenever and however they need them.

Chloe Barker, Managing Director for our UK aviation business, said: “We continue to be by our customer’s side, enabling them to fulfil their duty, whether that’s through engineering excellence or managing logistics and complex supply chains.

“We’re pleased to be continuing to deliver this large-scale technical support service as a key partner to the RAF, delivering an excellent integrated service capability.”
