The MiliPol Paris 2023 international homeland security expo is now well underway at the Villepinte Exhibition Centre, reports Bob Morrison.

The latest edition of the biennial police and security exposition which commenced yesterday, Tuesday 14th, is the busiest that I have attended and even though my media pass allowed me access to the exhibition halls slightly ahead of the crowds and I worked through until close of business I only scratched the surface.
To try to ensure I cover as much as possible during the four-day show I pre-planned my route to first support our key sponsors before turning my attention to new police and military footwear on display. In addition to servicing French and European police and military footwear requirements many of the footwear manufacturers presenting their wares at MiliPol have their eye on the British Army’s long overdue ‘Supply of Combat Boots’ tender, so there was plenty to see and hear about. I intend returning in depth to most of the boots in the following photos once back in the office with time to do the subjects justice, but hopefully this brief glimpse of some of what is on display will be of interest.
Finally, two other subjects caught my eye while I was cruising the halls. An INEOS Grenadier was displayed in Municipal Police markings on the Grau stand, and a Ghost Robotics Q-UGV (Quadrupedal Unmanned Ground Vehicle) was parading in a new camouflage coat fashioned from BCB 3D Crinkle.
