It is with great sadness that I report the untimely death of fellow defence editor and friend Andrew Drwiega who lost the battle with cancer.

Andrew, who I first met over a quarter of a century ago, was not only extremely knowledgeable in defence matters but was the industry’s ‘Big Friendly Giant’ and will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
