American Apparel Inc. of Alabama has been awarded a $7.26 million contract for 70,200 US Marine Corps Tropical Combat Uniforms.

US DoD Contract Notice, 11 September 2020: American Apparel Inc., Selma, Alabama, is awarded a $7,260,212 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the purchase of up to a maximum of 70,200 Marine Corps Tropical Combat Uniforms.

Work will be performed in Selma, Alabama, and is expected to be complete by September 2025. Fiscal 2020 operations and maintenance (Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $1,201,631 will be obligated on the first delivery order immediately following contract award and funds will expire at the end of fiscal 2020. This contract was competitively procured via the official contract opportunities website, with one offer received. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
