Slovenia and Finland have signed a Letter of Intent on support for the procurement of 8×8 Armoured Modular Vehicles (AMV) from Patria.

Press Release, Helsinki, 13 February 2025: Finnish Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen and Slovenian Minister of Defence Borut Sajovic signed a Letter of Intent between Finland and Slovenia on support for the procurement of 8×8 Armoured Modular Vehicles (AMV) in Brussels on 13 February, 2025.
The letter of intent between the Ministry of Defence of Slovenia and the Ministry of Defence of Finland was prepared jointly by the Ministries. With the intent, the participating nations state their shared willingness to cooperate, and that Slovenia will receive Finland’s support for the procurement of 8×8 Armoured Vehicles from Patria.
Patria AMV XP 8×8 is a market leading, state-of-the-art, modular and robust armoured vehicle providing superior fire power, protection, and mobility. Patria AMV XP 8×8 has already been successfully selected to ongoing vehicle projects in Slovakia and Japan.
