Wales-based BCB International will be launching the anti-thermal ULCAT (Ultra-Lightweight Camouflage Tunnel) at DSEI 2023 in London.

Press Release, Cardiff, September 2023: BCB International will be launching the anti-thermal ULCAT (Ultra-Lightweight Camouflage Tunnel) at DSEI 2023.

The vehicle tunnel is made from specialised lightweight natural 3D material that helps your assets blend into any environment while at the same time protecting them in the visual, infrared and thermal spectrums. Patterns, colours and sizes can be customised to the customer’s requirements.

ULCAT FEATURES

  • Random 3D ‘Crinkle’ pattern blends in with the irregularities of nature.
  • Non-snag and breathable material.
  • Quiet.
  • Lightweight.
  • Fire Retardant (ISO 6941)
  • Non-absorbent
  • Good visibility out of the net.
  • Operational Temperature range of material: -45°C to +70°C.
  • Equipped with quick opening front and back doors for rapid vehicle insertion/evacuation.
  • Two additional quick opening lateral doors for personnel entry.
  • Uses UK MoD standard issue fibreglass
  • Tent poles and ground spikes
  • Can also be used as a standard camouflage screen without poles, spreaders etc.
  • Set up time: Approx 20 minutes (crew of 3-4 people)
  • Dimensions of camouflage tunnel (deployed) are 8m (l) x 4m (w) x 3.5m (h)
