A Bushmaster Electric Protected Mobility Vehicle was demonstrated after being unveiled last week during Australia’s Chief of Army Symposium 2022 .
The Chief of Army Symposium (CAS) 2022 comprises the Army Futures Forum and the Army Expo series held at the Adelaide Convention Centre and is a continuation of the Australian Army’s commitment to innovation and to Australian Industry. CAS 2022 is designed to support information exchange, share ideas, build trust and develop Australian sourced technologies to ensure the Army is able to meet the challenges of being ‘Ready Now and Future Ready’. The Symposium included the Army Innovation Day, Army Robotics Exposition and the Army Quantum Technology Challenge, which brought together industry, academia and the Australian Defence Force.
On Friday (12th August) Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, the Hon Richard Marles MP, and Chief of Army, Lieutenant General Simon Stuart, AO, DSC, toured the new Electric Protected Mobility Vehicle following the Chief of Army Symposium at RAAF Base Edinburgh, South Australia.
