French defence manufacturer Arquus, in cooperation with a Polish manufacturer, this week displayed their Fortress APC at MSPO in Kielce, reports Bob Morrison.

Before the MSPO defence expo in Poland drew to a close yesterday, we grabbed the opportunity to snap the Fortress 4×4 APC without the usual defence show flags and banners getting in the way.

It had been our intention to attend a company briefing on the latest Arquus armoured vehicle developments in Paris next week, and to learn more about the French manufacturer’s plans to team with Polish industry to meet Poland’s future requirements for a wheeled APC in this class to replace an ageing Cold War era fleet. The current spike in COVID-19 in France, and the associated reduction in Eurostar services are impacting these plans to a fair extent but we still anticipate being able to bring you news of recent Arquus developments in a few days time.
