The US DoD has announced Avon Protection Systems Inc and Canadian Commercial Corp will compete for each JSGPM M61 Canister order.

US DoD Contract Notice, 27 August 2020: Avon Protection Systems Inc., Cadillac, Michigan and Canadian Commercial Corp., Ottawa, Canada , will compete for each order of the $127,200,000 firm-fixed-price contract to qualify and procure M61 canisters for the Joint Service General Purpose Mask.
Bids were solicited via the internet with two received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 26, 2027. US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
