IDV has signed a contract for the supply of a third batch of military tactical logistical trucks to the Romanian Ministry of Defence.

Press Release, Bolzano, 10 March 2026: IDV has signed a contract for the supply of a third batch of military tactical trucks to the Romanian Ministry of Defence, as part of the framework agreement signed on December 30, 2019, covering a total of more than 2,900 High Mobility trucks.
The first phase saw the delivery of 942 vehicles, followed by a second batch of 1,107 vehicles delivered between 2023 and 2026. The 860 vehicles of the third batch will be delivered over the next three years. The trucks to be supplied to the Romanian Armed Forces within this third batch are based on IDV’s High Mobility range and one-third of them will be equipped with an armoured cabin. The production and delivery of these additional 860 High Mobility trucks is the demonstration of IDV’s ongoing commitment to supporting the Romanian Armed Forces, as well as its full cooperation and integration within Romania’s industrial ecosystem.
The delivery of more than 2,900 trucks in service of Romania’s National Defence strengthens IDV’s position as key supplier of High Mobility tactical and logistical vehicles in Europe. In addition to Romania, the Italian Army signed an agreement in 2024 for 1,453 trucks, which was extended in 2025 to include an additional 658 trucks. Furthermore, the Dutch Ministry of Defence selected IDV’s technology for its Army, signing a contract in May 2025 for the delivery of 785 vehicles.
