Press Release, Hempnall, 18 February 2026: After an extended absence driven by global production disruptions and supply-chain challenges, the highly regarded PenCott GreenZone camouflage pattern is returning to the market on a new line of durable performance fabrics.

Hyde Definition Ltd., creator of the PenCott family of camouflage patterns, has partnered with leading global fabric innovator WidePlus International, based in Taoyan, Taiwan, to introduce a fully renewed ecosystem of GreenZone woven and printed materials at Enforce Tac 2026 in Nürnberg.

A New Manufacturing Partnership: The collaboration between Hyde Definition and WidePlus International represents a strategic step forward in rebuilding the PenCott supply chain. As a vertically-integrated and direct factory-managed textile manufacturer, WidePlus brings extensive expertise in high-performance textiles, advanced printing processes, and durable finishing technologies for demanding operational requirements.

The new GreenZone fabric line meets strict military specifications for colour-fastness, durability, and near-infrared (nIR) signature management — critical factors for modern uniforms and tactical equipment. The partnership with WidePlus also provides a stable and scalable production platform to ensure reliable fabric availability.

Expanded Fabric Range for Modern Applications: The new GreenZone portfolio includes a range of functional fabrics enabling brands to integrate textiles tailored to meet tactical gear and garment performance requirements:

  • 50/50 NyCo Ripstop for rugged uniforms and field apparel
  • 500D Nylon suited to load-bearing equipment and tactical gear
  • 4-Way Stretch Nylon-Spandex for performance apparel with mobility and comfort
  • Woven Jersey Fabric for comfortable and flexible moisture-wicking apparel
  • Lightweight Polyester Shell Fabric offering breathable weather protection for outerwear garments

Other specialised fabrics and textiles within the WidePlus portfolio can also be incorporated into the PenCott portfolio depending on demand.

Performance Meets Sustainability and Innovation: WidePlus operates as a full-service warping-weaving-dyeing facility, with in-house R&D and quality control labs to maintain consistent camouflage performance while delivering structural durability and long-term wearability.

WidePlus International also integrates advanced textile finishing options such as cooling solutions, odour-control treatments, and breathable waterproof membranes. These features reflect evolving market expectations for multifunctional tactical textiles that balance operational effectiveness with wearer comfort.

By combining Hyde Definition’s camouflage expertise with WidePlus’ technical textile capabilities, the partnership aims to revitalise and stabilise the PenCott brand’s presence across global military, law enforcement, outdoor, and performance apparel and gear sectors.

Debut at Enforce Tac 2026: Attendees of Enforce Tac will have the first opportunity to view the new GreenZone fabrics in person at WidePlus International’s booth. The companies plan to showcase material samples, discuss OEM opportunities, and engage with manufacturers interested in integrating the renewed camouflage platform into their product lines.

This relaunch is a welcome development following years of limited availability, signalling renewed momentum for one of the most highly regarded modern camouflage families.

Looking Ahead: GreenZone’s naturally blending colours and fractal-based, micro/macro disruptive geometry have long made it a favourite among discerning user communities in verdant environments. Hyde Definition and WidePlus International look forward to delivering the new GreenZone fabric range to support users and producers seeking mission-ready camouflage solutions.
