KONGSBERG F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Components Supply

KONGSBERG are to supply further composite components worth 1.4 billion NOK for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter programme.

Press Release, Kongsberg, 03 May 2022: Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) and Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS have signed an agreement worth 1.4 billion NOK for supply of composite fuselage panels and hatches for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter programme. The agreement covers deliveries of production lots 15 -20, with a period of performance running through 2027.

“KONGSBERG has been a supplier to NGC and the F-35 programme for more than a decade. This agreement confirms our relationship with NGC and our position on the programme. To date, we have delivered parts for more than 1,100 aircraft. The agreement has a horizon on five years and gives us predictability and stability over time.”, says Terje Bråthen, Executive Vice President Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS.
